Our
latest tournament was held February 17th on Lake Seminole out of Seminole Lodge.
We were scheduled to go to Orange Lake near Gainesville but had to change it due
to low water conditions.
Not complaining about the move was David Mock who somehow managed to
win his second tournament in a row. David brought in one of only two 5 bass
limits on the day. His limit, anchored by the tournaments big fish, a nice
6.44 pounder, weighed in at 12.65 pounds, good enough to take the
win. This was also David's second big fish of the tournament in a row.
Second place this month goes to (judging by incidents during his pledge
period) the toughest guy in the club, Stan McCollum. Stan managed the
smaller of the two limits caught on the day, weighing 9.96 pounds.
Third place this month goes to the consistent Ricardo Smith. Rico
weighed in three nice fish for 8.03 pounds.
Congratulations to David, Stan and Ricardo on a fine finish on a notoriously
finicky lake!
